This Website is provided “as is,” with all faults, and Coastal Blue express no representations or warranties, of any kind related to this Website or the materials contained on this Website. Also, nothing contained on this Website shall be interpreted as advising you.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall Coastal Blue, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, shall be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website whether such liability is under contract. Coastal Blue, including its officers, directors and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.
Indemnification
You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent Coastal Blue from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
Variation of Terms
Coastal Blue is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
Assignment
The Coastal Blue is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Coastal Blue and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for the resolution of any disputes.
Estimates & Quotes
Estimates and quotes are based on the provided specifications. If the specifications change or
are different than presented the cost may change. If the specifications change, Coastal Blue will notify the customer of
the cost difference prior to processing or printing the order.
Deposit & Payments
A 50% deposit may be required at the time of order. Credit accounts may be setup with
conditional approval. Please download a credit application www.coastalblue.com. Coastal Blue accepts all major credit
cards.
Returns
AII sales are final, there are no refunds or credits. Proof approved artwork is not eligible for reprinting at no
cost. The customer must notify Coastal Blue within 5 business days of the errors to be eligible for reprinting. Coastal
Blue makes the final decision on all reprinted orders. The customer must return all defective printed pieces to be eligible
for reprinting.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled in prepress production. However, no prepress production, graphic design work
and all related service charges can be cancelled. Customers will be billed for all related services. Orders may not be
cancelled once printing production has begun.
Order Delivery and Shipment
We pride ourselves with our customer service and continue to deliver on time as we
have for the past 31 years. Orders that are not delivered on time due to circumstances beyond our control cannot be
canceled. Changes to your original order may change the cost and delivery date. Orders can be picked up at our
counter, or for additional charges, delivered by Coastal Blue or shipped ground/air depending on the customer’s needs.
Late Fees
In the case of non-payment, bad check(s), late or partial payments all service charges and legal fees will be
paid by the debtor. Overdue balances are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee until the total is paid in full.
Graphic Design and Customer Provided Artwork Files
Customer’s Responsibility
Customer supplied material is the sole responsibility of all such persons and not Coastal
Blue. All artwork and printed material must be lawful. Coastal Blue is not liable for unlawful material. Coastal Blue has
the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
Proofing & Artwork Approval
All work that Coastal Blue creates requires documented approval prior to print
production. Electronic or facsimile proofs are generated for each job and must be signed prior to going to print. Coastal
Blue appreciates your cooperation in this process to assure 100% customer satisfaction. An approval signature by any
representative from the company is considered an authorization to proceed with the order. If the customer refuses or
declines a proof and requests the print order to be processed, in lieu of a proof, Coastal Blue is not liable for any errors.
A written approval to proceed is required.
Printed Proofs
Printed proofs are available for every order. The cost for printed laser proofs is $10 dollars for each
original. If there are no changes to the document, the printed laser proof charge will be waived.
Customer Supplied Artwork Files
High resolution PDF files are preferred. We will provide an estimate prior to
processing the order. File fees may vary due to necessary adjustments for printing. All files must be a minimum of 300
DPI. Color and digital images are not always printed as seen on screen, color shifts are common between
computers and monitors. If color is a concern we provide printed proofs for a nominal fee. Logos and alike require
vector files for quality reproduction. Our graphic design department can produce or reproduce vector files from images
that are provided. We will provide an estimate at the time of inquiry.
Revisions
All proof revisions are limited to three unless Coastal Blue makes an error or does not make the requested
change. All changes or corrections must be done via email, fax or hand written. If there are more revisions after the
three, additional artwork charges will apply.
